FAST-NU Islamabad campus recently organized a “carnival of creative arts” to highlight the cross-curricular talents of the students. The week-long carnival encompassed variety of competitions including writing, poetry, debates, declamations (British Parliamentary & Pakistan National Assembly), elocution, graffiti, sketching, painting, singing, and stand-up comedy.

FAST-NU Islamabad campus initiated a comprehensive plantation campaign from March 3 to March 15. More than twelve hundred plants were planted during the campaign. Dr. Amir Muhammed, Rector, and Secretary General, FAST Rana Ghulam Shabbir planted a sapling at campus to formally inaugurate the campaign.


With a concept of 'grafting visions into reality', FAST-NU successfully organized IEEE Week 2013 from December 2 to December 6, 2013 at Islamabad campus. The historic event encompassed 14 major activities which were attended by more than five hundred students from ten different universities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Professor Lionel Briand , Head of Software Verification and Validation (SVV) Lab of University of Luxembourg (SnT), Luxembourg, proposed the joint supervision of MS and PhD candidates at SnT and FAST-NU

Prominent politician, economist, management expert and former CEO of ENGRO Corporation, Mr. Asad Umar addressed a seminar on “challenges faced by Pakistani economy and role of a young business graduate in the eyes of a business leader” organized by the Fast School of Management, Islamabad campus, to exchange experiences among various students and business leaders for formulating ideas and strategies for human resource development for economy

Ambassador of Denmark His Excellency Mr. Jesper M.Sorensen,visited FAST School of Management (FSM), Islamabad campus on October 2. More than 200 students participated in a special lecture given by HE Mr. Sorensen on Denmark – Pakistan relations.
