NaSCon 2009

The Islamabad campus of FAST National University organizes an event named ‘NaSCon’. This annual event comprises of different Computer Science, Engineering as well as Business competitions. The event on 11, 12 April 2009 is the 8th NaSCon competition. This year, NaSCon is being expanded to make it an international event. Teams and individual participants are being invited from universities all over Pakistan, to participate and compete amongst the best young brains of the country. Such competitions are very helpful to young students, as they get a chance to interact with other bright students of other institutions. Additionally, students also get a chance to get information about projects developed by their peers.

This year, in hope to stretch the horizons of the event, a category for Engineering Project Competition, Harvard Case Simulation & Game Theory Competitions are included. For entertainment, a spring festival with food stalls and games will be arranged. In view of huge success of NASCON ‘07, we believe that NASCON‘08 will attract the largest audience ever in any IT Extravaganza held in the Twin Cities. The event also promises Media Coverage.
Owing to the prestige of your organization and its relevance with this event, we, on behalf of National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Islamabad, request you to sponsor the event. Please find attached details of various ways in which you can help to make this event a real success. We believe this will prove to be mutually beneficial.
