-Before retirement worked as chairman of F.B.R (Federal Board of Revenue) for 2 years
-For six years worked as head of electronic Government Directorate to introduce ICT (Information & Communication Technologies) in Government departments
-His international assignments include serving United Nations as a member of Adhoc Group of Tax Experts of Developing Countries
-Participated in International Tax/ ICT seminars held at Geneva, Tokyo, Beijing
-Visited different countries to negotiate Pakistan Government's tax treaties with USA, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Turkey e.t.c
-In 2001, while still in government service, started teaching at FAST and International Islamic University as visiting Faculty
-Since July 2008 working as a member of permanent faculty of the FAST School of Management
-Teach courses like Tax Management, Corporate Regulatory Frame Work, Fundamentals of Accounting, Financial Accounting and Business Law
