Mr. Hashir Ibne Irshad
Assistant Professor

Introduction

Mr. Irshad belongs to the select community of globally recognized fund managers with his professional status as a CFA (Chartered Financial analyst) and LIFA (licensed International Financial Analyst). A gold medalist from IBA, Karachi, he has a long and diversified career in both corporate and academic worlds spanning over two decades. He started his career as a banker with MCB and then became a full time financial consultant working for a number of public and private enterprises. His specialty has been financial re engineering, corporate restructuring, debt-portfolio rescheduling and feasibility study management. Besides being a professional consultant, Hashir managed other responsibilities in the corporate sector including his stay with Islamic International Trust as Project Director and with Greenwich University as a Director. At a later stage, Hashir devoted more time to academia and now for many years he has been associated with academics in a full time capacity. He remained with Hamdard University, Islamabad as the Head of Finance Faculty and later with Foundation University as Assistant Professor and Team Leader of their Executive Development Center. He was also the founding member of FAST School of Business On the training front, he conducted various successful workshops, seminars and short courses for a number of organizations including PTCL, Global Communication Networks, Professional Skill Development Center, Pakistan Television, Becton Dickinson and many other notable organizations. His noteworthy recent consulting assignments include the structural design of National ICT R&D Fund in association with MIMOS Berhad, Malaysia and OSP initiative for Ministry of IT across Pakistan.
