Undergraduate Programs

The four-year undergraduate programs of full time study are divided into eight semesters.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

BBA
Eligibility
	-	12 years of education
	-	Must have passed subject of MATHS
Selection Criteria

	Selection on the basis of NU Admission Test
	-	Performance in the NU Admission Test
	OR
	Selection on the basis of SAT score
	-	Combined score of 1,500 or more in the SAT-I examination

BS (Computer Science)
Eligibility
	-	Pre-Engineering or 12 years of education with Mathematics
Selection Criteria
	Selection on the basis of NU Admission Test
	-	Performance in the NU Admission Test
	OR
	Selection on the basis of SAT score
	-	Combined score of 1,500 or more in the SAT-I examination, AND
		at least 550 in the SAT-II (Math Level IIC) examination

BS (Electrical Engineering)
Eligibility
	-	At least 60% marks in Matriculation or an equivalent examination AND
	-	At least 60% marks in HSSC (Pre-Engineering) or an equivalent examination.
Selection Criteria
	Selection on the basis of NU Admission Test
	-	Performance in the NU Admission Test
	OR
	Selection on the basis of SAT score
	-	Combined score of 1,500 or more in the SAT-I examination, AND
		at least 550 in the SAT-II (Math Level IIC) examination

Candidates Awaiting Result

Those selected are given provisional admission, subject to passing the examination. If a candidate fails to pass the exam with required score, then the admission shall stand cancelled. The tuition fee shall be partially refunded as per university rules. Such students MUST immediately inform the university about their exam result.

MBA (1-year)
Eligibility
		-	BBA or an equivalent degree from a recognized university received after 16 years of education with at least 60% marks or CGPA of at least 2.0
Selection Criteria
	50% weight
		Performance in any one of the following tests
		-	NU MBA (1-year) Admission Test OR
		-	At least 1,800 score (out of 2,400) in International GRE AND
			at least 4 out of 6 in analytical writing
	50% weight
		-	Performance in group discussion/ interview

MBA (2-year)
Eligibility
		-	A degree earned from a recognized university after 16 years of education with at least 60% marks or CGPA of at least 2.0
Selection Criteria
	75% weight
		Performance in any one of the following tests
		-	NU MBA (2/3-year) Admission Test OR
		-	At least 1,800 score (out of 2,400) in International GRE AND
			at least 4 out of 6 in analytical writing
	25% weight
		-	Performance in group discussion/ interview

MBA (3-year)
Eligibility
		-	A 14-year Bachelor degree (B.A. /B.Com. /B.Sc.) earned from a recognized university with at least 60% marks OR CGPA of at least 2.0.
Selection Criteria
	75% weight
		Performance in any one of the following tests
		-	NU MBA (2/3-year) Admission Test OR
		-	At least 1,800 (out of 2,400) score in International GRE AND
			at least 4 out of 6 in analytical writing
	25% weight
		-	Performance in group discussion/ interview

MS (Software Project Management)
Eligibility
	-	A degree in Science / Engineering earned from a recognized university after 16 years of education with at least 65% marks or CGPA of at least 2.5 AND
	-	Two years of post qualification experience in software development or related area
Selection Criteria
	Performance in any one of the following two tests:
	-	NU MS (SPM) Admission Test
	-	International GRE (General) Test Score should be 1,800 out of 2,400 hundred in verbal and quantitative reasoning and 4 out of 6 in analytical writing

MS (Computer Science/ Mathematical Sciences/ Electrical Engineering)
Eligibility
	-	Degree in relevant subject, earned from a recognized university after 16 years of education with at least 65% marks or CGPA of at least 2.5
Selection Criteria
	Admission is based on candidate’s performance in any one of the following two tests:
	-	NU MS Subject Admission Test OR
	-	International GRE Subject Test

PhD (Computer Science/ Mathematical Sciences/ Electrical Engineering)
Eligibility
	-	A degree in a relevant subject, earned from a recognized university after 18 years of relevant education with at least 70% marks or a CGPA of at least 3.0
Selection Criteria
	Admission is based on candidate’s performance in the following:
	-	International GRE (Subject) Test AND
	-	Interview
